Connor Lew would be an upgrade over Brockermeyer, and provide SJ another year to develop as a center

Connor Lew should have his pilot's license by now; so, time to come back south.

Not sure about his pilots license but he has graduated.

Auburn is going to into a rebuild with a new coach. No (football) reason for him to remain there.

Wasn’t Lew’s old man a Cane fan? Seeing us in the Offs is probably a knife in his heart considering his boy would be anchoring the Oline
Kid made his bed over an Aviation program, which is something that can be done after football and was a lazy excuse the entire time anyway.

Let him finish his degree and play in that new gimmicky offense and get poor coaching for another year.

I'll take someone that's a) healthy and b) wants to be here and capitalize on the opportunity to come the first time

He was the clear best center in CFB entering the season and a potential 1st round pick at center - which is hard to do. Lmao you don’t turn him down because he flipped from us out of hs. He tore his ACl oct18. Should be back end of July I’d gues? Either way we have Rodriguez and SJ who should be able to fill in and get valuable reps (SJ) if they actually Plan on him being a starting center ever.

Yes... I don't take an injured kid that won't be able to practice until fall camp at the earliest... that also burned you out of HS and put you in the musical chairs year over year at Center because he wanted to be a pilot.

Pass. Bring me someone fully healthy that jumps on the opportunity from day 1.

Offer has to mean something. Can't be a plan B and fallback option after 2-3 years in pig towns.

Can players take visits yet or have to wait till it officially opens on the 2nd ? Kinda confusing how we got a window but 80% kids already in portal lol

The only issue is injury & recovery timetable. If we stayed away from every kid who left us at the altar, we’d have a lot of hurt feelings. Auburn flip is somewhat understandable - short hour-plus drive from his home & Auburn has one of the top aviation programs, if that’s his thing.

You think Mario gives a fvck that this kid decommitted 3 years ago? If Mario think he is the best Center available he is going to pursue.

CFB is cut throat either play the game or end up like FSU

Spring practice for an offensive line losing 3-4 of 5 starters is more important than anything. Missing spring and summer negates the majority of however talented you think the kid is. Not even mentioning the risk of taking someone coming off an ACL.

If you offer a kid and they go elsewhere.. fine. If they commit and flip late in the process and leave you shuffling the position for years to come (still to this day) no. Shouldn’t be an option.
