Popo?

I want to see Wiley idc right now about LB, I felt it was the weakest link on the defense. But they did their job to the best of their ability which was good enough. Now insert more talented traits and ask them to do that same job.

This is why it’s gotta be frustrating to be a HC in CFB these days…it’s almost impossible to build quality depth. Between players using leverage or going somewhere with more opportunities it’s a 24/7 headache. I think that’s one of the reasons there’s more parity now. Hopefully we can keep Popo because I do think he’s a solid player.
 
It's not optimal - I hope they try and get him back in the fold. Karsten Busch comes in with the size/speed to get some snaps behind Toure if he does leave.

When it comes to evaluating and assessing the roster I believe this staff has earned 100% of our trust. In my opinion, they’ve now inserted themselves as the #1 group in the country regarding roster building and talent evals. See how fast the Pringle ordeal got sorted out? That pretty much validated how most of us here felt about him; That he’s super talented and has the chance to be special, but needs to work on his blocking. With Popo, once again I’m going to trust the staff and understand that if they really like him and want him back, he will be.

Young guys need to step up. Wiley and Pruitt have the speed to run sideline to sideline but will they have the instincts. We had what a 4 man rotation at LB this year? Mo, Wes, Popo, and Smith? Heatherman is going to have to develop this group.

Adversaries are treating Miami as their Spring Portal window due to us making it to the final. Throwing all kinds of crazy money and promises out there.

What’s crazy is Popo and his family moved to Georgia when he was a pup from Miami. Played youth ball with my cousin’s team around age 7. They’ve always repped the Canes. That’s the ironic part of all of this. Hopefully, all will be well for him and his brother. We should be able to bounce back.
