Lawrence Cager, Marquez Ezzard, Brian Hightower, Evidence Njoku all transferred out of the WR room, but Pope was the one that was "begged" not to?

Lingard actually transferred to UF but Pope was "begged" not to? Was Michael Irvin Jr begged not to transfer too?

And why would he be begged not to transfer? According to most of yall he's not even that good, so who exactly "begged" him not to go?

It was a fake news rumor on here bro, Pope wasn't going nowhere, fans just dislike the kid so much they were foaming at the mouth starting rumors about him & people believed it. If he wanted to go to UF he would've committed to them out of HS & if he still wanted to go he would've already left.

He's not the only player on this team that has liked tweets from UF players, a lot of our players have, along with several other teams, because that's just how football is, these kids are not mortal enemies like the fans are.

I only speak up in defense of Pope because if you actually know him have the complete exact opposite opinion of him. It's truly bizarre to me how he became so hated on this board but if you asked the players on the team about him, to a man they all respect & like Pope a great deal, he's not a bad kid or a malcontent in any way.

i think the hate (and ill admit, i did hate on him for the transfer rumors but happy he stuck around) comes from the hype and expectations placed on him. some kids take time to adjust and excel. he started to show his potential a bit but was saddled with shoddy QB play and a poor o system. i expect him to feast in this O with his talent

Lol you don’t have to keep explaining yourself to all these “ Get off my lawn guys” on this board. They expect for any kid that goes to UM to hate ever player on Florida and Florida State. This is a new era of kids. They literally like EVERYTHING on social media. Stop taking it so **** serious. Lol King wished Trask a Happy Birthday on Instagram, so does that mean he wants to transfer? Kids have friends at other programs all over the country... get off social media if it bothers you that much.
