@Stefan Adams or anyone else that would know. What has their attitude been like? Both were all world and neither are playing very much at all. I hope they keep their heads in the game and are ready for their opportunity and also they don't get an itch and transfer.

Pope's playing behind JT and Harley, also doesn't help that he got here in May. Whereas Wiggins and Hightower got here in January which is why they see playing time; they understand the playbook better.

Lingard's flashed, but Deejay and Homer are playing good right now and Richt rarely goes to a 3rd back in the rotation.

Haha more horrible analysis. You’re better than this.
Pope came in late and Wiggins and Hightower early and they’re ahead of him. The coaches trust them more right now.

Lingard will play more this season. Obviously in a tight game against FSU he didn’t, again, trust right now. If lingard transfers b/c homer stays, he still sits a year and plays the following year, exactly what would happen at UM if he doesn’t transfer.

They have impressed the staff; Richt mentioned today that Pope will be seeing more time in the near future. It's simply that other guys have impressed more and those positions are loaded with talent. They each have their areas to work on, and that's mainly blocking.

Not every true freshman is ready to play significant minutes right away

Thats what happens with a real program. Doesn’t matter how many stars. You are behind ballers. Pay your dues and your time will come. Stack chips

They are freshmen with seasoned vets in front of them. Relax, be patient, and their time will come. Depth is a good thing.

We are just that deep at WR and RB. If he were on the squad, I doubt even Cane legend Brian Monroe would get PT with this group..... On the serious side, Lingard is one injury away from getting bunches of PT. But for now, we are just running with two RBs and carries for Gray in short yardage.

Feels like I just flat out missed it, but any clue what's up with Herbert? Not even playing in 4 games while Milo does.. its gotta be an injury right?

I'm not sure if the majority of people have a reading comprehension problem or what. I know who they are playing behind and I understand why and I even know they aren't going to redshirt, at least Lingaurd for sure. I didn't ask that.

I was just curious how their attitude had been because you know going from 5 star to rarely seeing the field has to be disheartening. @Stefan Adams thanks for the answer. Non sarcasm.

Still getting stronger off the shoulder injury and he's not significantly better than the current second team tackles. They messed up not redshirting him last season so they're correcting that mistake now.

Pope snaps about to go up. I want to see Lingard get in there even of you scared the defense get tipped off on the run.....make them stop him

Seriously?? They came here knowing how deep we are at RB & WR, but now they're transferring after 1 season because?? Enough with this Crap.
How many on this board thought Richards was either suspended or ready to transfer because nobody wanted to believe Richt, when he said that Richards was injured?

Why aren’t they playing every other snap as freshmen and sitting behind some of the deeper WR and RB units in the country? Nice Q OP

We do have two pretty good runningbacks, I think Lingard will play more this season, just a matter of what games. When he gets those chances it's up to him to show he deserves to be put in the rotation.
