To FSU. I tried to tell you guys who were reporting he was a done deal here. FSU and Michigan were high on his list. My friend was his coach and said we moved up because the kid hear Butch Davis might be coming back. Basically said a Philly kid trying to get to the nfl was not looking to play for the "former temple coach" I thought it would be michigan tho he wanted a winning program. good kid from what i hear. wish him the best.

Interesting comment he made about Davis. Our recruiting class would certainly change a bit if Davis took over. We'd end up with a couple big-time DTs, for example....One can only hope....

every canes site said he was a lock. I disputed that. u are full of it. we didnt stop recruiting him. He was VERY high on Miami's board.
He didnt say that about butch. i asked the coach "It seems he likes michigan. he said he def wont go to Bama." I said "miami have a shot." he replied "Yeah.
he follows social media so yeah because he thinks butch davis is going back. he's not really trying to play for the former temple coach tho"

You're giving Kaaya too much credit. The weapons he had all were productive prior to Kaaya's arrival.Clive was going to get drafted anyway. Look at his numbers. 1 year with Kaaya didn't cause him to accumulate his stats the previous 3 years to break the record. That being said, Kaaya is good and he has a reputation of favoring the tight end. And our history should be a selling point as well.

most kids a high percentage choose schools because of the coach not because of the school.
So he's basically choosing to have an unknown quantity throw to him as opposed to a verified proven young stud in the form of Brad kaaya. FSU's best TE in over 20 years gets drafted AFTER a Miami TE. The NFL is littered with TE's from Miami but he chooses the school where O'Leary is the only TE representing FSU in the NFL.
