Difference is that TRob has had major success at coaching and recruiting at major SEC schools before being promoted to DC at a second tier power 5 program. Baker doesn't have that on his resume. Miami is the only power 5 school he's ever coached at.

Plus T-Rob isn’t coming here to put together a defense. He can contribute there, but he’s here to coach up our DBs, kill it in recruiting and mentor DVD.

I was around some die hard LSU people last night, and I straight up told them that they made an enormous mistake hiring Blake, but we really appreciated it. They busted my balls about the Canes not doing anything since Jimmy, but it was worth it!

3 national titles since Jimmy but ok, enjoy Baker geniuses.

I started countering this and the interrupted with “oh, OK, Coker” And I reminded them of Butch and then the place got chaotic. Cool guys I’m hoping to do business with, but I got in my shots.
I mentioned that Maason Smith was coming to Miami and at the last minute “something” happened and I mentioned the possibility of $$ bags being dropped.
