PROS
  • Only 19 years old
  • 20 career starts in the ACC
  • 6-6, 210 with the frame to get bigger and stronger (that will help improve his arm strength)
  • 68% accurate as a passer
  • Elevated a very bad NC State team to 8-5 and a bowl win
  • Ability to escape the pocket and be an actual threat in the RPO game
  • Adds another dimension to Miami’s running game
  • Has improved every year going back to high school, if history repeats itself he will continue to improve
  • Dawson has always had a starting QB who was 65% accurate or better, that makes Bailey a fit for his system
  • Is known to be a great locker room guy and leader (Mario loves those types)
  • 2 years of eligibility

CONS
  • Several multiple interception games
  • Very poor performance against top teams
  • Poor throwing mechanics
  • Feet get sloppy in the pocket
  • Arm could be stronger

I mean.....since you put it that way......I'm kinda sold. But what about his decision making? 🤔

Decision making is solid in my opinion. I see a QB who get overwhelmed when playing teams with better talent because the talent around him is just not that good.

If he can elevate his game he could be a first round NFL QB. This years Mendoza in my opinion.
