Golden is the (pun intended) GOLD standard for horrible UM coaches. He schemed for failure. Mark isn't scheming for failure (I know some would disagree). Mark at least has a chance to improve quite a bit regardless of whether or not he does. Golden's allegiance to Dorito gave him ZERO chance to ever be good.

This is the kind of thing that makes the Kharma Gods angry.

I remember where is was when I heard that Golden had been fired( London, 2015, U2 concert). I was seriously considering taking a sign to the concert that read " Fire Golden". No joke.

I dig the OP's anger, I get it, but for the love of everything sacred and holy, stop that.
 
Golden finished with three 3rds and a 5th in the ACC coastal. Before we start crowning Richt, let's see him top that!!
 
Al Folden is the WORST Head Coach in School History, both sides of the ball bar none.

Frustrated with Richt or not, the 2 never belong in the same category.

Folden literally destroyed this program.

The wefense was worse bc it was fundamentally the opposite of Miami football. At this point Honestly to me the punting is worse than both. Every time we punt I expect something bad to happen and I’m more shocked if the punt is decent

While Richt is the better coach, I believe even Al Golden has a different QB by now.
