I will say that watching on TV during the first half, FSU sounded like they had just as many fans at Hard Rock as we did. Should have guessed it was a few of our own dumbasses helping them out.
 
I've hated that chant ever since I heard it as a freshman. It's stupid, because for the people watching on TV, it just amplifies the War Chant. No one hears the insult on TV.

Correct. Same with the players on the field, they say it sounds no different than the war chant, just makes it louder. I have no idea why this stupid tradition has gone on for so long
 
Due to the intoxication level of most fans I'd say throw it away all together I lost my cool a little bit and screamed shut the **** up to the ones in my section and they called me a nole fan as I'm decked out in canes gear. And I stupidly attempted to explain that we were on offense.
 
The funny thing was, this was the least amount of Seminole fans I've seen at a game in years. Usually they have a decent showing but I guess they were expecting to lose so now they're off the bandwagon. If there was 65,000 people there, I'd estimate 5,000 were semenholes.

Still most of our fans are idiots. We have one of the least football savvy fan bases in college football. I shouldn't have to explain to people why you don't make noise when the offense is on the field. That includes the stupid *** "wave" that somehow is still popular here. Not just the fans either. The band director needs to cut his band off when the offense is lining up. Perry's at the line calling signals and the friggin' band is still playing. You make noise for the defense, you shut the **** up for the offense.

That's the point I was trying to make. FSU had to return half of their allotment because they couldn't sell them, but when FSU's band started their war chant, it sounded like a 50/50 crowd on television.
 
I swore they were pumping that chant through the speakers. It took me awhile to figure it out. I was like "why is it so loud, they have like 500 fans here"?

This should've been stopped before it ever got legs. Now all the sheep mimic it at the stadium like a bunch of dumb sheep.

I love it but it I had the same talk with fellow UF fans who said congrats on the win but mentioned there was a lot of FSU fans in there when I was at the game and there was barely any. The chant is great in spirit especially for tailgating etc but during the game it does misrepresent ourselves because we are becoming quite an elite venue and home field advantage and I definitely don’t want that to get watered down. The whole nation needs to be talking about how there’s something special about big games @ The Rock. Our fans are doing AMAZING showing out I wanna make sure we get the cred we deserve for the effort we are putting in!
