Okay everyone, in the interest of trying to de-clutter the board, I'm gonna try and get everyone to post their thoughts on Mullen in this thread. So any thoughts on if he's the best man for the job, if he's too arrogant, if he hasn't done enough at MSU, if he's a bad fit, etc. should be posted here. After say, 30 minute or so, I'm going to start deleting all the cyclical back-and-forth posts about Mullen that appear on the front page.

I will also create separate polls for Richt, Butch, and Schiano. Let's try to keep the discussion about their pros/cons limited to those threads.

Note - if there is legit info about the candidates and the current search, I will NOT delete it.

I'll start the ball rolling:

Dan Mullen

Pros - Built and maintained a horrible MSU team into a respectable one, runs an attractive offensive scheme, a known savage

Cons - Is his MSU record really that good? May not be the right fit for this team, what about defense?

If not Richt give me Gundy!! if Gundy declines give me Mullen, If we cant get Mullen let Schiano take a whack

Mullen would be the most interesting hire out of all the candidates Miami is considering. Would be a drastic change to our offense. Mullen is good at developing players. I wanted him 5 years ago but we low balled him

Good OC, but not great. Won with Tebow, Harvin but his offense is boring as ****.

Decent HC, but not the hire that I would like to see us make with our program on life-support.
