The Golden slurpers and the administration would LOVE a Duke loss, so they can stick it to the fans.

If we lose to Duke we are losing to GT as well. 0-3 in the ACC, season over. Time to build for next season and to avoid getting annihilated by FSU. That's when cannings will take place. And they will take place.

It is primarily bad business to fire the coach in season. I know some have done it, but it generally doesnt sit well in the coaching fraternity. Not saying this is right or wrong just how it goes.

With that said, what is the point of an in season firing? Its not like you can hire someone new until after the season anyways. If you fire No D, he will appoint someone with alot of experience (williams) to be his lackey. Golden would primarily call the defense, which would result in no change. If you fire golden, what does that accomplish. Make Coley interim HC, the guy knows nothing about calling a defense so it will still be NO D coaching. Plus, he has alot on his plate calling plays, do we want him distracted with having to run the whole team too. Nobody fires both HC and DC in season. never going to happen. Just have to wait the season out.

Nobody is getting fired anytime soon so all these new topics and posts are just thread-cluttering. ****, I see Golden being here next year as well so you can get used to it. Not saying that's what I want because I obviously but making 100 new threads a day about it won't make it happen any sooner.
