On paper this is the best and by far the most talented team we have had since 2005. Difference is this program is ascending and that one was in a sharp decline. Question is if this is 1999 or more like 2000. Probably closer to 1999.

Improvement could look like…

Win 10 games and make it to ACCCG and lose a close one…

Win 10 games and make it to the ACCCG and get waxed…

Make it win 11 or 12 games and either of the first two…

For me given the state of the conference. Improving the defense or winning an extra game or two than the previous year won’t mean much if we don’t win the conference championship. The conference doesn’t have any world beaters or any one that should be of real concern.

What we’re spending on a coaching staff and NIL “should” get us a ROI in a conference championship.

We need to win 1 of those…idc which one, just get 1 of em. Then we can have to go at least 7-1 in conference play. We do that, and we’re in the ACC title game with a playoff berth on the line

I think we are heading in the right direction but is it fast enough to keep up with the big boys….Team is starting to look better physically but just being big and looking good doesn’t always mean you’re talented….i guess we will know just how fast we are moving in the right direction around the end of August.
