Progression. Improvement. Better than we were before.

I say yes, but 2025 is a big year, as is every "next year". Gotta keep stacking talent, keep winning, and start winning things of significance (ACC, or at least a spot in the **** game, playoff spot, etc).

We're clearly headed in the right direction. You'd have to be Beetlejuice from the Stern Show to not realize the program is better today than it was a few years ago, in probably every aspect (not just Mario's doing, the infrastructure is a lot better, and that's indirectly attributed to him but he didn't make that happen personally).

But can you keep winning? That's the right direction. Going 8-4 this year and getting shellacked in a couple of those losses is most certainly not the right direction.

The only thing that would mean we are in the right direction this year is an ACC championship. Idc about wins and losses. We can be 8-4 as long as those 8 wins are all ACC wins and we make the playoffs.

Eh. I'd have to chew on that one. You're probably right, but somehow this fanbase would still say everyone sucks if we somehow did win the ACC after going 8-4.

You're probably correct, though. I hate this league with a passion, but Jesus H. Christ can we finally win it once? If we do that, it's probably a successful season and doing something (positive) you haven't done once in 20 years is definitely "heading in the right direction".

I think in the midst of the season and definitely during that first month their would be a ton of commotion. To be fair the worst we could possibly be is 1-3 before conference play starts. At the end of the season if anyone is upset with winning this garbage league for the first time ever they are just miserable. We talk about Miami like we are amongst the elite, but in reality, we need some actual proof.

**** man, I'll take all the help I can get. I'd be OK if every other team in the league disbanded their football programs except for us and one other and we went to Charlotte by default. Whatever it takes. It's been 21 years, just go win this ******* league already.
