I understand the issues with the offense, but WTF is going on defensively?

We had guys flying around week 1-4 cracking people. Thomas and Poyser look lost now. Our corners are nowhere to be found. We gave up 300 yards passing to scrubs.

There seems to be a Bobby Knight thing going on. Maybe pushing the kids so hard they are burnt the **** out.

Whatever it is it’s getting worse

Again, wtf do we do all week? Every week we play teams that come out with entirely new game plans, wrinkles, looks, whatever. FFS Brohm had 3 QBs on the field for half a drive. Yet we do the same thing over and over.

He and X have a bad schtick going on. They are quick to talk **** about the coaches/team, reveal inner workings of stuff, etc etc. basically, they are big, non-cane, cane fans. Cut from the same cloth as Puke, et al.

It’s really dumbfounding. I coach my son’s 7th grade team and we get film of the opponent most weeks. Coaches and players watch it, we game plan based on their sets, personnel, etc. What might they try vs us on O, on D? Then adjust that game plan if needed in game as we play them. I thought it was football 101. Kids play so fast when they play confident.
 
Freeze, Napier and Kelly all fired. There is no reason Cristobal should not be facing the guillotine as well. Dont become what we laugh at. He has no excuses for these losses. This is not a talent or lack of resources issue. This is Al Golden refusing to fire No D because he knows everything and that's the only way.

Im tired of these know it all coaches man. Simply tired of them.

I'm going defend Mike Ryan here.

I thought his comments were even handed and sensible vis a vis our Canes and yet another disappointing season.

He puts his money where is mouth his by being a Golden Cane.

they said on the broadcast we put in all new signals this past week because Mario was worried about espionage with so many close ties to SMU players/stsff.

Yea he will be fired two years from now. It’s over he’s *** he won’t change and this football program goes back into death mode. It’s over

He’s openly using a model that’s 1- a decade old and 2- the innovator of said model had gone away from prior to retiring.

Mario forgot to get the plans to Bama 2.0 let alone 3.0
