Not complicated. If I thought we were going to win I would have attended the game. If the opponent had been an upstart I would have given us a big chance. We weren't going to defeat a defending national champion that was preseason highly rated this year.

Now the goal needs to be annual recruiting excellence that allows performance level equating to a very high preseason rating every season. Regular season results don't mean very much if they aren't certified by lofty preseason ranking.

I'm hurt that we never even competed. 3pts?? I knew that it was going to be a bad day when their running backs were driving our DL backwards on running plays.

Maybe Norton and RJ should consider one more tour.

My heart said we had a small chance but my head said no chance.

This sums up what I thought. From a purely rational perspective, I just didn't see how/where the points were gonna come from, to pull off a win.
