Not gonna lie, the minute I became a dad (at the end of the 2009 season), I honestly cared less bout Canes football than I did my previous 35 years.
A few years of this program being in the toilet didn't help, but by the time that 2010 season rolled around—the five losses still stung, but not the way they did before entering this season of life.
A healthy, happy family and raising good kids—a reminder that the bullsh1t that happens on Saturday afternoon isn't life or death.
Yes, we all want Miami to to back (after almost two decades of incompetence) but authentic life moments are so much bigger than anything else.
To a healthy and happy journey for little man.
