its stupid, everyone here thinks in a box, its exhausting truly, we are not close right now no matter how many of these gurus want to put bans aids on stuff, we have to recruit at an elite level, and we need everyone to support the plan and the program

What changed for RS in year 3?
What changed for AG in year 3?

1. Culture Change: Sure no doubt. We see it.
2. Routine Change: Our offense is performing worse than last year. Our defense is much better. Our record is on pace with a team that went 8-4 with no coaching and against a more difficult schedule.
3. Expectation Change: Not sure what this means. Should we be performing worse on offense? Can we score more than 18/ppg against teams with a pulse?
4. Talent Change: Not sure what this means. Are you saying we don't have enough talent? Are you saying UNC and VT have better talent?

If you take an objective look at the roster, how can you not? Decimated by injuries, dismissals, bad recruiting by the prior staff. Did you think the scholarship reductions would have no effect? That the prior staff would do their best Butch impression and make prudent choices with who they offered? Recruiting restrictions wouldn't have any consequences?
After watching the season so far I am certain that this is a rebuild. It will take at least two years to get to some level of parity within the ACC let alone nationally. It is a shame that there is some decent talent that is being wasted yet again this year. Replace yet another coaching staff and UM will be back at ground zero again and then it will be 5 years until one could expect to be competitive.
This sucks. I hear you. I am in total agreement that there are things the current staff does have to answer for but in no way should they be shown the door.
Who cares what School X did with Staff Z? UM has it's own unique set of circumstances and to compare it to any other school or even UM's prior history is an exercise in futility. This will take time. Watching these guys fail will continue to suck. However, I'm impressed with some of the young guys on this team. There is a foundation in them. We as fans are just going to have to roll with it because we have no power to change it.

(I hate this game to game talent comparison crap, it is elite recruiting to create a real Miami football program, we are not texas tech, we beat people because our players are better, bigger, faster, stronger)

He gets more than 7 games or a season to try and figure it out.
Not three years though. If this time next year he's still running the same lame duck offense without any coaching changes it'll be pretty clear he has no intention of changing. What difference would an extra year and a half make?
