OL is average for our standards.
DL likely above average but disappointing night
They don’t come close to last year’s team
Skill players are all better however

Mensah looked very bad. Rushed throws when he had time. Poor decision making. Cannot play like that against good competition or we won’t have a chance

When we win the natty this year, it’ll be because Mensah plays better than he did tonight and Mali is the best player in America not named Jeremiah smith regardless of position)

This right here all I’m hearing is they kicked our butt up front. That can’t be the case when you run for 260 and almost 6 YPC. Peoples bias that we didn’t win by 21 is showing.
 
Two problems.

These guys just aren't as light and quick on their feet. That's the biggest difference between last year and this year. This affects everything, plenty of bulk, but bulk is bountiful on recruiting.

Secondly, they aren't good with their hands either. It's weird, it's like they've all got slow hands which is allowing people to get by them. It's likely a case of footwork and balance, but even when they're in a place to put hands on someone, they are too slow to do it. Those fractions of seconds make a difference time and again.

We're really going to be desperate next year.
