Playoff teams are playing a different game

Miami is so far behind.

It's not just the HC and the staff. It's the whole athletic department and football operation. As someone so aptly pointed out in another thread, it's the infrastructure. The college game has evolved and Miami has not.
Oh, hai guyz.

My question is whether it is worth being great if it means abandoning the concept of a college football team and replacing it with a semi-pro team. I want kids to be paid for their efforts, but I don’t like double standards between competing institutions which is what we have now.
Think what you want but don’t lie to yourself. In UM’s glory days, the team was full of guys who you would look down on today. If you abhor our history, then you can’t care about competing today. But if you don’t abhor our history, then you shouldn’t whine about other schools today. UM can do wht it wants. Results to follow.

I think it's size in the trenches first. These teams have some real maulers on the OL. Oh, the evil things I'd do for some maulers on the OL.

We have size in the trenches. Navaughn Donaldson is the size of a small house. Unless by size you mean guys that aren't gigantic tubs of lard.

To clarify, they have an athletes with size in the trenches. Their linemen are lean, but strong and disciplined. Has there been a single false start all night? Or a holding call?
