Look, I believe that we will beat TA&M, but Mario has now made this a successful season per my expectations. We’re 10-2 again instead of 11-1 or better, but my floor for this year not being a disappointment was 10-2 + playoffs.

Obviously, I think we are the most dangerous team in the CFP, but even if we were to lose on the 20th, I will be happy with this season and even happier about our trajectory.

Now, if we can just get out of this dog crap conference…

Win. And next year leave no doubt. Don't lose to inferior teams. Make getting into the playoffs a forgone conclusion.
 
Wanted to bump this thread - I believe this mentality is going to be a real factor for our Canes. Our guys should be able to play loose and free without pressure…I know media types have said some bull**** about us needing to win to prove we belong, blah blah blah - we all know that is completely false, this team not only belongs but has the horses to win it all. Add to it a lack of pressure….**** yeah brother.

I am so pumped to see how we come out firing today. LFG
 
Bull****. The expectation was ACC title and playoff appearance. Everyone expected Miami to be here.

We’re the better team. Play to win. Expect to win. There is nothing outside of the way we play, that needs to happen to win the game. We aren’t Tulane or JMU.
