Players Who Need to Go

You know what I'd focus on first.

Getting rid of coaches that get less out of their players than their predecessors did.

If your staff is getting worse results with a previous staffs players, the fault isn't squarely on said players. It's on you and your staff.

Same players, far worse results, I'm sorry...... I'm not going to blame the players. That doesn't mean they are guilt free, but you sure as **** aren't doing something right as a staff.

TVD already planning what school to transfer. Can anybody blame him? Can you imagine if we never saw TVD play last season? We would just assume he was a terrible QB who can't play. That's what a bad scheme can do to any player

You want any chance of saving him, you gotta fire gattis tomorrow morning. If we wait and think about it he’ll be gone

Also I’d put Ponce in as OC for rest of season. At this point who tf cares. He can’t be worse then gattis. let it be his audition

It’s scheme defensively too. They ran a counter with a pulling guard ALL GAME and we never adjusted smh

It's very possible that the talent isn't there AND the coaching sucks and we just don't know because the players aren't being taught the right techniques, and, more importantly, the right behaviors because there's no leadership from the coaching staff. We do not know how good or bad the players truly are because their performances exist in the shadow of a malignant coaching environment.

How hard can it be for safety to know he has deep coverage? Happens every week coverage busts with every safety. If you allow it to happen then you are coaching it. This should happen once maybe twice at the most a year. Not every week!!

You guys have it all wrong. After reading message boards for years, its not the players or coaches, its the fans. The fans are responsible for this doo doo show.
 
Step 1: fire Gattis immediately, grab your sack & make a statement
Step 2: as another poster stated let Ponce OC the last few games and see what he’s got
Step 3: fire Feld, Steele.
Step 4: find replacements for all the aforementioned coaches and get it done before winter workouts begin, no more insanely long interview processes.
Step 5: portal time !!!!!! We need a considerable amount of addition & subtraction here or else the impact of the 2023 class will be mitigated to an extent.

I agree with this post! I don’t understand Stevenson, high fiving and hugging FSU players in the middle of plays, while we are getting our butts handed to us! This kid is the worst player ever from His mistake against TAMU to getting consistently beat, to not making tackles this kid sucks! That’s why he is at The U (garbage collectors) and not UGA!

If it's a talent issue then Manny should have gotten the Coach of the Year last year and Lashlee should have been the Broyles award winner. Best post. But @bobbo31, you have to understand what it means if guys on this board admit that you are right. It means they would have to forfeit a lot of their hope. See, if it is as simple as a major roster overhaul, then they have plenty of hope. Get through the rest of the season, pull a USC and bring in a new roster. But but but, if YOU are right, then it means a new roster won’t help. And guys just can’t bring themselves to think about that right now.

THIS is what last years team did: Won 5 of last 6 and beat two ranked teams back to back. 3 of the losses in the last 8 were by a combined score of 9 points. We came away frustrated because the wins were had. This year? Not even close. Same players. Same **** players. Mario was supposed to be the DIFFERENCE in getting over the hump.

Disagree. I look at it as a a team that very much overachieved in the 2nd half of season and still only won 7 games. They played above their talent level last year because Lashlee and TVD got hot.

It’s Mario you know it’s gonna be like February and he’s still filling out his coaching staff.
 
I am done blaming our players... if you can't win 7 games on our weak *** schedule with these scrubs (as many of you refer to) , you aint beating 'bama and elites with a team full of 5 stars....

If you can't keep from driving a Pinto into the ditch, what he11 would you do with a Ferrari...
