Richt was the CEO of the football team and not Diaz. Now he has all the cards. Now if he's able to get the right guy to kick start that offense then he will be able to pull these kids with zero problem! Kids not going to a team struggling to win games against Virginia and Dukes of the world! They want to play in games you witness on Saturday! Florida is going to kill it now that they are winning! We are playing catchup. but I do think with the right right OC it won't take long!

Winning does cute all, but I just have a hard time believing that we will start winning the games we should. There's always growing pains with a brand new HC and this won't be different. We will just have to learn the hard way.

It’s insane.

For 15 years WE(me included) have been grumbling “quit pussyfooting around and make a decision. Stop kowtowing to the 85 year old widow trustee who’s never seen a game. Spend real money. Find young coaching talent before anyone else. Pay a buyout. Replace an entire staff.”

We do all that **** in a 48 hour period. The reaction is “****** slow down ya maniacs. Hire someone safe. Hire a search committee. Don’t take chances on young coaches. Retain some of the underqualified (HS caliber) assistants so we keep our pipelines.”

I feel like I’m taking crazy pills.

What recruits? That matters a bit, but I haven't seen any positive reactions from recruits, only current players, and as everyone else has pointed out, that should mean very little.
