If they did not, why the **** does it matter for Manny?

Who are these recruits? I already know players like their current coaches, but what recruits are staying or flipping to us as a result???

1. The camp that directly or indirectly sees the drastic change in operating mentality and are frightened of change.
2. The camp that wants progress and thinks this is status quo.

Camp 2 should not fear. Manny might suck. He might be great. He might be average. Doesn’t matter. The decision makers are evolving.

How in the **** would you know that recruits were excited about his hire when it just happened. Nobody will know that until they start committing and signing. Otherwise total BS!

While I am shocked that they named a coach without even giving it one day, I'm not entirely just gonna trash the Diaz hire. Our defense has had more than just a pulse for 3 years now, we have seen the defenses ability to takeover games. Diaz will have our defense continuing that trend. I liken this to if Al Golden had fired No D.

Our defense will actually get BETTER when we put an offense on the field that doesn't call 5 plays all game or the same screen to a TE 4 times in a row. How many times did we trot out and go 3 and out only to punt the ball 19 yards. Our D played lights out many times only to left out to dry by our Offense.

Had we hired a guy like Leach we would be hoping to god he hired a great DC or we would be losing games 49-35, just another tenure of being good on one side of the ball and trash on the other. I can't just start trashing this hire from the get go, I'm not that guy.

I'm sure Manny has BEEN having ideas as to what he would do differently than Richt. If we get a solid offensive mind to call the plays I think this team could find that top 5 ranking again. I believe Manny has that killer mentality and will not be one to go lightly on teams out of good sportsmanship.

AND I think this is actually a boost for recruiting because like many of you I think Manny has clout in South Florida, the offensive guys stayed away and I don't blame them, if I was Haselwood, no way I want to play WR for Richt either. But the defensive players will always want to play for an attacking downhill defense. Now, if we get a high powered fast paced offensive scheme to match we might have something on our hands.

Bottom line is I'm just glad we don't have to watch that Richt offense much like I was so glad when I could turn the game on a No D was no longer DC. I'll wait to watch the games and see what the product looks like before I start trashing everything. Go canes
 
Our players are ******* retards as shown on the field and social media. You don't let your kids make decisions at home, and you don't let players make decisions for the University. ****.

The AD said they will do anything to make Diaz hire a success when it come to who he wants as coordinators and assistant coaches. But I will take the ADS word with a grain of salt until I see it.

But we need to give the guy a fighting chance. After all he and his defense was the only thing keeping us excited during this difficult season!

He's had 3 years to sell his defense and still can't get top flight kids to come. Nothing will change
 
Inmates running the asylum. Hiring who the players want typically doesn't work out so well.

Richt was the CEO of the football team and not Diaz. Now he has all the cards. Now if he's able to get the right guy to kick start that offense then he will be able to pull these kids with zero problem! Kids not going to a team struggling to win games against Virginia and Dukes of the world! They want to play in games you witness on Saturday! Florida is going to kill it now that they are winning! We are playing catchup. but I do think with the right right OC it won't take long!
