Everybody jumps down people’s throats who are hesitant about a players union, without considering the actual fallout of it. The players have leverage and are willing to use it for the first time, but if they take it too far it’ll ruin college sports as we know it. Once again people lose sight of the middle ground.

Thats not what will happen. The unions would likely do away with the education requirement completely in time. It will be minor league football with schools skimming of the top for their institutions.
