Players that left

Anyone know why Gayot transferred? I thought he was going to have to retire because of his medical issues but I thought he'd be back here if healthy...we definitely need the help at LB

I don't always understand why a loss of players is considered a bad thing. I get it if your team was good. But if your team was 14-12 over the past 2 years like Miami was, is the loss of players necessarily a bad thing?

If you were 0-12 the year before shouldn't you be celebrating the loss of players? God I remember the celebration I had when Kyle Wright graduated.

Plus if they don't want to be at Miami I don't want them either. If they're transferring now it seems like they had a big attraction to Al Golden. It's like they're thinking "Golden's fired now so I need to leave Miami."

I definitely don't want players who want to keep the Golden days alive.

I'm not sure if anyone thinks losing these guys is bad. But you also shouldn't celebrate the loss of players just for the sake of it. I think everyone here thinks that there were a lot of guys on the roster that didn't deserve scholarships. Richt saw it too and cleared out some of the guys. I don't know why you think all these guys are just leaving because Golden left. They are leaving because Richt told them they basically needed to leave or they'd have to pay $60k a year to stay... although I'm sure most of them would get a lot of FinAid.

Doesn't seem like anyone is upset about any of the guys who were asked to leave. Only reason to be upset is that we had so many guys who shouldn't have been here and it will take time to replace them all.
