Players pushed out?

I have to admit that the last year or two recruiting got stale to me under Al. What players currently committed or interested in us do you expect Coach Richt to move on from?

I don't see Richt as being a guy who pushes people out. But i can see him talking to guys and being honest about the future and playing time. Guys will always leave on their own after change.....it just happens.

For recruits, the staff will just say they are "evaluating things" and when the communication slows, guys will look elsewhere.

i disagree I think he's going to send a lot of them packing. We have way to many gems on this team and now wanting to wait on that long to get relevant again. He needs quality depth not Temple or FIU level kids we have on our team now.

OUT OF THESE HOW MANY STAY? Havent even made it to our Dbs yet.. I can see at least 10 who would transfer off this list right here or will not be offered

Has very few players rated under 5.6 at Georgia, mostly 5.7 and above...Few exceptions are big or fast with little football experience...Will be refreshing to see those same numbers at the "U".

I would say 2 or 3 lineman(Grimsley,Mahoney), 2 WR (Jones, Langham) 2 DT (Hamilton, Moore) and maybe 2 LB (Gordinier, Smith or McCray)

This is not counting the rest of the D. We have more to purge to include the coaching staff

I think what you likely will see is guys like Moore, Hamilton, D. Jones..maybe even Lewis transfer as graduate transfers if they are eligible.

I thought it was coaching that was hurting us! Every team has a few players that don't see prime time action, but are probably doing some of the other things on a team we need.

We just don't have just some we have way to many

Gordinier was going to start against Duke. Most versatile LB they have. When Golden was fired the coaches made a decision to not burn his redshirt.

smart move if godlen wouldnt of burnt everybody rs we have a lot better depth. Something has to give we have good kids some just not good enough to be here if we wont to be ellite again.

Hoover: Coaching, player talent and quality of recruits are not mutually exclusive. It is coaching that was hurting us, which included the former regime's sub-par recruiting.

It may sound bad but I hope CMR cuts ties with the players who are not producing OR players who will not help our starters get better (i.e. players who are not ready to start now, but will in the future). We need players and depth to make our team relevant again. We are not going to get to where we want to be as a team with JAG's that come here and don't see the field for 4 freakin' years.

If I don't produce at my job, I get fired. I feel sorry for some of the kids this should happen to, but they should not have been here to start with.

We've got some players that shouldn't see the field, but we've also got depth issues. We need some of these kids to stay just to have the bodies to finish games, so I wouldn't be in a hurry to get rid of many of them. At least not right away. Speaking of which Dallas Crawford shouldn't have seen the field nearly as much as he did, but the truth is that we needed him for depth.

You can only fire so many people at a time or your company won't function.
