Loved listening to Price. Said he could hit from 52 yards in practice. His longest make in high school 42. Should have improved leg strength since then. May or may not be the answer for next year but love the upside

If he has hit a 52, it's not elite, but his foot strength is no longer a disqualifier.

The next question is how quickly Price's accuracy falls as he goes farther away from the post? Can he make the kick under pressure 80% of the time from the 20 (37-yard field goal) and 66% of the time from the 30-yard line (=47 yard field goal)? If yes, then that's good enough.

If no, and Price loses accuracy quickly with distance, we've got a problem and need a kicker to transfer in. We also need to get a kicking consultant for Baxa ASAP, because we need him for kickoffs, and it would be great if he could get over his yips with field goals at some point. That boy has a rocket leg.
