Thing I heard that was encouraging is that players were given tape to study their weaknesses and things they need to work on the second half of the season. It seems the veteran players appreciated it, and emphasized their need to improve in those areas identified.

if that is truly how they spent their bye week, then things should improve for the Canes moving forward into the second half of the season. These players are very talented, but they aren’t as good as they think they are. They all have areas for improvement, so I am happy to hear that they understand that their opponents will exploit their weaknesses until they work to turn those weaknesses into strengths. Happy to see that kind of championship focus and attitude about constructive criticism
