Player Led Practice

Daryl Porter showed off a 3 inch vert and Couch actually stopped himself from jumping on that ball.
C'mon..Porter had a significantly taller receiver, with much longer arms leap and make a play over him. Yeah, Moss'd, not a good look - but sometimes the other team makes plays. Even teams like So.Miss. or Marshall, or App.St.

Oh for sure, advantage Brownlee (I think that's his name) on that play, but the effort was abysmal. One could make the excuse that Porter was off balance (which is true) and mistimed his leap (see of balance) , but plays are about what happened when got your shot. Their WR got his and he took it.

Good play by him, poor by ours. It's still frustrating that there's more cases of them seizing the moment than us. 50/50 balls really haven't been that percentage in a long time. I'd say it's more like 80(them)/20(us). Gets tiresome and people attack.

Recognize what exactly??...the garbage I saw today, from playcalling, too DB play...too Bad tackling, too dropping passes??...That's what you want me to Recognize??....

i'm actually surprised to see you this way being that you're the biggest 90's hurricane homer alive

mario is who we knew he was honestly, i'm behind the guy as much as anyone. But he's an average game day coach, I think we all know that.

Tbh I couldn't be too mad at that play, 50/50 ball and the much bigger Brownlee made the play. It happens. What ****ed me off is that 1 play Baldes had a great chance at an INT and just basically froze. Awful effort play. Hard to imagine that would've played out the same way with Tae or Balom in that spot.

I have every right to be a 90s so-called Homer....

It’s also showing that Mario is slowly changing the culture around the program. May not be overnight but it’s encouraging to see.
It was never about the Coach...Butch & Company didn't supervise these workouts...or make them mandatory...The players did it on their own...ENTIRELY....the main difference we had on those teams was "Leadership" among the players.

Watch the play, he literally got 3 inches off the ground. Neither him or Couch attacked the ball. Same way that blades didn't attack it and gave up an easy INT.

I don't think it's that. I'm an Auburn grad. Auburn historically has good fan support but if you ask any Auburn fan about noon kicks, they will tell you that it's **** near a given that AU will get off to a slow start. I don't think it's the atmosphere as much as the prep.
True. Idk man but it’s something. Probably not specifically the atmosphere..even tho I think it plays apart. I thinks it’s partly that along with how we do things leading up. Meaning the drive over etc etc

It absolutely shouldn't in my opinion.
I agree. It shouldn’t matter. But it seems to be a trend last 3 coaches. 2 early on the Mario assessment. Southern Miss isn’t BAD but for majority of the 1st they took it too us..for a portion of the 2nd half as well

We've become the University of Excuses since forever. If it's legit, that's one thing...but I remember coming out and Curbstomping teams right from jump.

That was 20 years ago lol. And it’s not an excuse. It’s a trend. Got faith Mario can get it fixed if it’s a trend now too
