The kids today are not the kids from 20-30 years ago, different era, different environment, different mindset.

The LB's have never once for a second been coached. They sort of don't have to if all you do is blitz. They can't read chit, they can't pursue chit, and they can't cover. Neither will be drafted. Their good / bad / ugly tape is going to be brutal.

I sure there plenty more examples out there, Shanny has continued an awful trend from Shannon all the way up to CMR for not sitting players for **** poor play. Shaq is the most exposed player on the team.....you bench Shaq for his half a@@ performances and the rest of the team will the get the message.

Amen brother, not only to the payers have no accountability but even worse the coaches dont! This thing is so broken that It’s like an iceberg, the part you can see is terrifying but the part you can’t see is even more horrifying. The reality is slowly sinking in to me for really the first time that we have become a has been dominant program like Pitt and Nebraska. I’m fighting it but I feel the reality sinking in and that is terrifying and horrifying all wrapped up together. 😩

Shaq has been an average LB this year. He constantly takes bad angles, misses tackles, and gets lost in coverage.

He's either VERY VERY VERY slow, or he's not going 100% on every snap while out there.
 
I just wish we had real leaders on the sideline that will get in your face and rip you a new one if playing poorly. Nobody does that. There is no energy, there is no fire or urgency to do better from the players. They are all talk on social media & in interviews but lifeless once on the field.
 
Didn't Ivey get 2 picks the very next game?

Benching guys isn't the only way to solve issues. It's like as a parent thinking that beating your kids is the only way to discipline. The stuff that worked 20 years ago won't always work now.

Fair enough, man, happy to agree to disagree on this one. I have a pretty long list of kids on this roster I personally don't think give their all, but Shaq is definitely not one of them.

What we need is a coach that can relate to the talent we have in Miami. Someone young, energetic, and knows all the newest dance moves. Did I mention having a mean Twitter game? Also, he can not be considered conservative politically, because that doesn't play well with kids in Miami.

Meh, ***** that. We need a tough SOB that makes these young men relate to THEM.

People will laugh at this but Coach K does this all the time. When the starters are playing like ****, he benches them and plays the bench guys and forces the starters to cheer them on and dares any of them to pout.

Diaz should have done that coming out of halftime of that FIU game. Send a message.

He sure does! And that's a microcosm of why Coach K is on the Mount Rushmore of greatest CBB coaches of all time. ****, he might be on the Mount Rushmore of greatest coaches of all sports. Coach K commands respect. Period. Right now our program needs a coach like that, not one that likes to be the players' friend.

Ed Reed was an All-American and got benched

Ivey's body of work from UNC-Gatech was straight :****::****: and played over a better performing CB in Blades
 
They dont care. Yall talking bout big holley dancing mark pope shud apply for soul train. I passes marlins park on my way to the airport i was so disgusted i couldnt look at it. These kids posting highlights.

Duke hoops just lost to Stephen F Austin at home. First loss to an unranked team in 19 years. What do you thing the next practice and meetings are going to be like. Many needs to roll up there and see first hand how to address from an embarrassing lost. Guarantee there will be no dancing from the Duke players and I bet they will come out ****ed and just destroy the opponent at home and carry that on to the next and even on the road. What we get in return are coaches saying the team wasn't focused and no energy. Lit a dam fire under these kids make them truly what it means not to lose at home and to an inferior team.

This last video in my opinion is on low football i.q. jw15, i could careless what the playcall was, if im a qb and im seeing tthat 2 for 1 special, coach GTFOH. But the no audible offense shows the arrogance of enos already, that **** has control freak written all over him:

Reed wasn’t an All-American that season. He was a freshman.

I do agree with your premise about accountability.
