Outside of the QB position player accountability is pretty much non-existent.

Penn St vs Miami - There's was a miscommunication coverage read between Rumph and Ed Reed that lead to Penn St bombing us for 80 TD for the win.
The coaching result - B. Davis benches Ed Reed the following game

Gatech vs Miami - Coaching staff warned Ivey to expect a fake punt, standing completely still Ivey let the WR run right by him as if he was expecting the punt returner to cover the WR
The coaching result - did not get benched and still get a high amount of reps

VaTech vs Miami - Fumble, drops and bounce off his hand to a defender for an INT
The coaching result - Lost no playing time for an deplorable game

I sure there plenty more examples out there, Shanny has continued an awful trend from Shannon all the way up to CMR for not sitting players for **** poor play. Shaq is the most exposed player on the team.....you bench Shaq for his half a@@ performances and the rest of the team will the get the message.

I think you guys have it all wrong....

they are holding these guys accountable with the ultimate penalty...

...they have to play in this offense on game day.

You make some valid points. But you lose all credibility at the end by claiming Shaq half asses it out there. What?!?

Cant bench players now a days they will cry and use the I'm going to transfer. Our coaches kiss these kids butts and don't want to hurt their feelings. I say ***** it and start the whole 2nd teamers against Duke to make a point.

Not all. Shaq has to hold the record for most times seeing the back of a ball carrier's jersey. It's been painful this year. I don't think it's just effort, but something isn't right with him. It looks like his instincts have been coached out.

Start the scout team, and I am NOT joking.

Not only does the players have 0 accountability from the coaches but the fans treat these players as if they play no part in what has become an joke of a program the last 15 years. It always a "it not your fault it 100% on the coaches!" mentality.. what if the players just suck, huh? LSU wasn't looking to good before they played us in 2018 with players only meetings right before the seasons. Despite what they felt at that moment about where they were headed they played as hard as they could possible play all year long. That's building a culture.. not dancing and false bravado BS.

Shaq has made his fair share of mistakes and bad plays, yes. But claiming he doesn't give it his all out there every game (which is what half assing means) is nonsense.

55 missed the RB on the screen for the TD and jogged after him. (PLEASE AT LEAST TELL ME THAT WAS A JOG)

It's more than just shaq and ivey.I know some want butch back if he did come back.half or more of the team would be sitting.but right now that's exactly what we need.if our current coaches are really coaches and not paycheck collectors they would put that foot down now.I'd rather lose to duke and the bowl game now knowing the staff was sitting a bunch of players to make that accountability statement.but you know as well as I do tomorrow is just same **** different day.manola like daddy spreading crap over s fla.

LOL If you're genuinely here arguing that Shaq Quarterman is a problem for us because he doesn't give full effort out there, then I just don't want to say, bud. That's so unwarranted it's downright bizarre. Shaq has his fair share of faults, but lack of effort and commitment is not one of them.

This is based off the entire season and still to this day any offensive plays set to the perimeter watch Shaq swallowed alive by the online or watch him get outrun by a pulling OG

It would only take letting one go to show that crap won't fly here.

Correct, I agree Shaq is a plodding MLB that has issues getting side to side. I also agree he finds himself out of position and/or gets washed away too often. I said twice above that Shaq has his fair share of faults. But I wasn't arguing that Shaq was perfect. My comments were in response to people alleging above that Shaq half asses it out there (aka: doesn't give enough effort). Like I said above, that is absolute nonsense.
