All things considered it’s not that bad, but it further shows that the big 10 got some odd chit at their member schools.

“They described an environment fraught with intimidation and toxicity and referenced the “Fleck Bank” — a system that allowed players with enough “coins” to get away with positive drug tests, and other violations of team rules.”

“Unprompted, the term “cult” was used by multiple former players and former staff members to describe Fleck’s “Row the Boat” culture spelled out in the so-called “Fleck Book” that players are given when they join the team.”

“Money in the bank” is a term used across CFB and the NFL as well. Simply put….the better you are, the more you can get away with. Fleck is a weird cat, but this is a non-story honestly lol.

The “Fleck Book” I got nothing for that though lol, tf.
It’s not that big, I agree. Fleck is still wierd asf tho. Only part that might mean something is the drug test part.

Also we thinking of moving to the big 10, they got a wierd cast of characters up there

CIS has same system.

No other explanation for some of the clearly drug-influenced porsts.

🤣

Everyone has a "bank" system but doesn't mean it has a name to it.

If one of my employees is regularly coming in late or messing up they don't have much of a leash.

If one of my best employees that never messes up, always on time, does the best work, etc and he makes a mistake... ya he/she isn't getting the same treatment.

Can't stand Fleck but those are some lazy allegations. Ex players that didn't like him trying to retaliate or get some money.

His name is PJ Fleck. Probably got his *** kicked every day in school and now he’s getting pay back.

Sure we want to go to the Big10?

SEC seems to allow and more importantly make sure the NCAA allows them to do what ever they want. 😂

I agree the concept is common and a non story.

However, creating a bank system with points? So like if I got 300 points just sitting in the bank, like dam I dont wan to waste those coins. Lol its like encouraging some ppl to go do ****.

Disclaimer: didnt read the article. So if I'm off on how it works, sorry.

Yeah there have been quite a few stories about his ego up here. For instance whenever he participates in a community event or charity etc. he makes sure he is the center of attention and cameras etc. I mean the guy had a facelift FFS.

Not sure on the drug test allegations - that’s the first I have read about that - but as others have alluded to every employer has a “bank” for their employees whether they have a formal name for it or not. Alot of this stuff comes off as whiny BS from former disgruntled players who want to remain anonymous. There was a similar hit piece in Fleck about a year ago. Complaining about having to clap when he walks into the room or memorizing common sports sayings or saying that you are “elite” is whiny and maybe more reflective of this generation of kids.

I go to a majority of the games and can say that yes - I think Fleck is an odd dude and not for everyone- and yes he has a massive ego. But his results have been good. Even though the gophers may not win the BIG10 - they are fielding a much better product with a better crowd and stadium atmosphere than they had under the previous several regimes. He has them playing at a high level.
