Yes, I was at that game.

I realized after posting that the Colorado game got more viewers than any Miami vs FSU game that was on ESPN including the Miami vs FSU Labor Day games from the 2000s, but I assume this game was on ABC so very possible that it had higher ratings.

Through 1 quarter and 2 drives (2nd quarter is about to start with Pitt on the UNC 2 yard line). They only had 211 yards total last week vs WVU.

So I stopped watching the game for a while, is this accurate? Did Pitt go from 152 yds in the first quarter moving the ball at will to only 37 yards in the 2nd quarter?

Right, that's what I thought I read earlier when they were discussing it (it being the higher rated ESPN game) but not of all games on any channel.

That is awesome you were at that game. How was it? Was it the most memorable experience you've ever had at a Miami game? I am sure it had to be up there. I think I almost cried with nervous joy just watching it on tv. I have only been to three Miami vs FSU games in person. 09, 2018 and last year.

I was a student and the student section was close to the end zone where Shockey caught the pass - it was awesome and I remember us all jumping up and down, high fiving, hugging each other, etc. It was definitely awesome. It was also hot as **** that day.

Of course it sucked a few weeks later when the BCS computers kept us out of the MNC and we had to watch FSU lose to OU 13-2.

I was also fortunate enough to go to the Rosebowl win over Nebraska which was great, but it wasn't nearly as climatic since it was a blowout pretty much from the start of the game. Still awesome though.

I don't think the league office is going to be showing them any favors this year after they were one of the no votes on expansion.

Agree, one game, one team at a time. But, coaches got tape on 3big rival games this weekend, while we stayed pretty much vanilla on O/D.
