Great coaches that work the refs get calls. Period.

That you’re bringing up Knight putting hands on people and Haith to argue that point kinda sums it up.

The point I'm making is that there have been tons of great coaches that didn't work the refs the way you think it should be done that have been successful and gotten calls. There isn't one way to approach leadership, or coaching basketball. L does what he feels is right and honestly, it has worked out for him more often than not. Whining about L not being a whiner with the refs is like saying a relatively attractive woman you're dating occasionally chews with her mouth open. If that's the worst thing you can say about someone, you are really reaching.
