Pitt the third

I know that you want to avoid saying anything critical about one of your heroes, but Miami never lost in the same fashion as Vanderbilt did.

You can keep trying to flail away but it's not going to change the facts.

Vandy went 3-2, losing to a #2 seed. Miami went 0-2, getting blown out by both the #4 and #3 seeds.

You know what doesn't happen all the time? Losing to a #4 seed 10-2 on Friday and losing to a #3 seed 12-2 on Saturday. At home. As a #1 seed. With an RPI of #12. At least Vandy lost to a #2 seed.

This is comical dodging.

That Miami team was overrated and was a surprise host. They were very likely #16 by the committee.

Vanderbilt was #1 overall and a juggernaut.

Lost to Michigan twice.

:ROFLMAO:

It's funny how much it pains you that Tim Corbin only has 3 Omaha appearances in 16 seasons.

By the way, losing a regional as a national seed is a little more respectable than bungling the program to the point of going 28-26 and missing the tournament at a blue blood program.

Look at the lengths Jagr will go to to defend other coaches at other programs when they were eliminated as the #1 overall seed at home by a Big Ten team.

But your precious RPI had us at #12. Now we were overrated? Your RPI missed by 75 spots? Weird.

Since when is it odd for a team to lose two games to a #2 seed? Isn't that a small sample size?

But I thought baseball was random. At least that's how you have explained away the last 17 seasons.

Who cares?

No such credit was given when Miami went 3-2 in 2014 and lost to a 2-seed.

This is typical nonsense from you.

You're hurt that Tim Corbin has failed a lot at Vandy.

Boo hoo.

2014 was explained away as random.

Nothing about Corbin bothers me. At least not until he runs Vandy into the ground, Jim Coker style.

Hero worship dies hard.

Now we have Jagr defending Vandy's coach to the death after he had a 54-win team and lost at home as the #1 overall seed to Michigan.

Michigan's only other win in the entire tournament was against Memphis.

Missouri State didn't have another win in 2012.
