We've absolutely obliterated Pitt. This has been a scrimmage for a Q. We're getting guys who never get to see the field valuable reps. This is how those great dynasties of old built depth.

I don’t recall ever seeing a clown show like that from our backups on those dynasties. They showed the same discipline as the starters.

The backups who, God forbid we have more injuries, will need to play in big games. The standard must be the standard. Our best teams always had the same energy, no matter if it was the starters or backups.

tbf, none of the teams look fine right now. legitimately none. if it weren't for indiana last year, we would've already seen a completely open fight for two spots in the title game

Fun to talk about that but it’s not the reality. Every team in 2026 isn’t as deep as they used to be.

There’s going to be a drop off, that’s just being realistic.
