He was 50-48 at Kansas.. Golden is 55-55 in his career despite coaching in the MAC his entire career. (basically)

He handed off a program to Gill and then Weis that had recently won 10 games and an OB. I'm thinking Gill and Weis didn't come close to doing what he did.

I cant understand the anti-Schiano rhetoric on here. Hes not Nick Saban or Urban Meyer, but hes a good coach in terms of whats available(forgetting Butch for the sake of discussion).

It was. He took them to more bowl games in 8 seasons than they had over the previous 3 decades combined. The year they won the Orange Bowl they finished 12-1 which was probably their only Top 5 finish ever. Long live The Blob.

Rich history with tons of national championships despite horrendous fanbase & playing in an empty NFL stadium.
