Pitt Game

The weather could potentially be worse. How much rain is the uncertainty, but probably not the winds. Lightning won’t be a issue since the atmosphere is more stable this time. Plan accordingly for the winds when tailgating and setting up a canopy..

The GFS (American Model): Predicts the worst of the wind hits right during the game. It shows sustained winds starting around 18-23 mph at kickoff, ramping up significantly to 27-32 mph sustained by the second half, with gusts easily pushing 35-40+ mph..

-The ECMWF (European Model): Leans slightly tamer during the actual game window. It holds sustained winds at a steady 18-23 mph throughout the afternoon, with peak gusts hovering between 28-33 mph. It delays the strongest 35+ mph gusts until late evening after the game is over. Of course the weather is fluid so forecast can change as we get closer to game day..

If Pitt were a disciplined team I would be a little concerned.

They turnover the ball too much and commit too many penalties in order for me to care about them.

We should take care of business.
BC game....Pitt had 13 penalties for 133 yds.

Pitt DC Corey Sanders “Yes, Miami’s has a good offense but we have a pretty **** good defense too.” Have given up 10 points combined last 2 games.

LETS GO CANES! :machinegun::machinegun::machinegun:

With all due respect, @joeyhh is the ONLY one on here permitted to speak on the weather. This is now two weeks in a row OUTSIDERS have done so. Unacceptable.........lol

Originally I thought this would be a sleepy start and Miami coming off a blowout of fsu.

With how the last game went and hearing players had the flu. I’m expecting Miami to come out hungry. Day game get up and get active. Players feeling better after being sick, bad performance against FSU and I’m sure some pretty intense practices/meetings this week.

Miami 35-13

Will not be easy and the "they lost to BC" crowd learned nothing from college football games across the country.

- We are coming off an emotional game
- We played extra snaps going into 2OT
- 12:00pm kick (first day game of the season)
- #1 ranking bullseye
- Pitt coming off a bad loss
- Pitt has #1 Rushing D, #23 Scoring D, #39 3rd Down D, #14 Red Zone D, #20 4th Down D, #28 TFL
This is an “I told ya so” setup if I’ve ever seen one.
