Pitt Game

[edge]

Good point about the extra snaps. I do find it interesting SJ played the whole game. As well as the entire OL. Poyser should be well rested tho.

20.5 point favorites.
Don’t remember the spread ever being that large against Pitt in the last 20 years.

Will not be easy and the "they lost to BC" crowd learned nothing from college football games across the country.

- We are coming off an emotional game
- We played extra snaps going into 2OT
- 12:00pm kick (first day game of the season)
- #1 ranking bullseye
- Pitt coming off a bad loss
- Pitt has #1 Rushing D, #23 Scoring D, #39 3rd Down D, #14 Red Zone D, #20 4th Down D, #28 TFL

Canes safely by bout 6 tuddies...

I WOULDNT BE SURPRISED BY ALL THAT SHXT PITT HEAD COACH BEEN TALKING TORWARDS US AND MARIO

[CocaneCowboy27]

For some reason we like to make trash QBs look kinda good but with that being said we still spank em on Saturday

[BostonCanes47]

The best part is that we control our own destiny. Just need to win by 1

[JD08]

I see we're back to the "We make opposing QBs look like Heisman candidates."

[jakeman1]

Miami should win, but over the next two games, they need get the OL to clean up picking up stunts. The run blocking looks decent, but stunts are getting home way too often. Pitt might not have a QB, but their defense is usually pretty good, especially up front.

I'd also like to see Mensah start helping the OL by checking down better to negate the rush.

At the beginning of the year, I had Pitt behind ND as our toughest opponent. Since the QB injury and watching them play, I’m a lot more confident we roll

@Hegemon

Breakfast tacos/burritos on the menu?

[Bipolarcane]

From here to Vegas the mopes are gonna ***** if we don’t beat everyteam 100-0. 1-0 is all that matters let go canes.

[JgDaCane]

I think Heatherman will overwhelm their young QB with pressure. I don't think they have enough horses.

[Colombie]

If Pitt were a disciplined team I would be a little concerned.

They turnover the ball too much and commit too many penalties in order for me to care about them.

We should take care of business.

So, since we played extra snaps in the game that was 7 days before this game, that's a cause for concern? Genius.

Yes, it makes a difference. If it didn't, then why do we rotate our DL and LB?
