Will not be easy and the "they lost to BC" crowd learned nothing from college football games across the country.

- We are coming off an emotional game
- We played extra snaps going into 2OT
- 12:00pm kick (first day game of the season)
- #1 ranking bullseye
- Pitt coming off a bad loss
- Pitt has #1 Rushing D, #23 Scoring D, #39 3rd Down D, #14 Red Zone D, #20 4th Down D, #28 TFL
 
Road games they have given up 27&35. Last three, 21,27,35. Football is about balanced teams. They will struggle to score and thus we will have opportunities to score more.

Otherwise, sure a backup freshman QB could beat us at home as a 3 TD dog

I don't think any of our remaining games will be easy.

I don’t think so . Miami wins by 3 TD’s. GERINER Is horrible.

Seems like all the P4 QBs we’ve played had season highs against us. Line is vulnerable to pressure.

Could be a walk in the park, could be a nailbiter midway through the 3rd. Mensah has to respond and shake off the jitters.
 
I’m confident that we won’t take anybody lightly moving forward. But if this wkend has taught us anything ..
Is that: Anybody is susceptible to a bad game and can lose to anybody. But to think that Miami is going to coast through every game is just crazy .. Even in 2001 the greatest college team ever assembled, they didn’t coast through their season..
It took some good fortune as well . So let’s stop thinking that we’re going to plow through every game.. More so now with the #1 ranking. Even though we deserve that ranking .. It puts a larger bullseye on our backs I not comfortable with at only wk 7. Theres still a lot of football to be played.

Narduzzi is asking for an asswhooping, and the performance against FSU gives Mario all the ammo in the world to chew the players asses about cleaning things up.

I'm more inclined to believe it gets ugly as **** for Pitt than I am to believe we take them lightly.
