I want Diaz & Blake out, but with enough progress being made were the team is developing and attractive to Mario or another good coach with changes being made in how the program is run and I only see Mario as the best choice at a good coach with a revamp in the admin & how football is viewed, like a real program.

Otherwise, I could see them perhaps getting a decent coach with no real change in the admin or how the program should be run.

That is my perspective. Keep Diaz in place unless we get a proven coach like Mario. Firing Diaz without a quality proven coach just bring false hope that ultimately sets the program back even further.

The funny this is that I think the Canes could have a legit chance to win an ACC title in 2022. If Diaz gets another year, he knows he pretty much has to win a the ACC to keep his job. So, we either get a high caliber coach in 2021 or Diaz win us an ACC Championship in 2022, or we get a high caliber coach in 2022. That's a win/win for me. I don't want another nobody up and comer.

The worse thing is that this year more than any other is/was the best opportunity to win the ACC. If Miami beats Pitt and Pitt or UVA wins the Coastal, it will be sickening. I hope we beat Pitt so we have some drama all the way to the end of the season. Pitt and UVA still have to play each other so one of them is going to be eliminated. Pitt still has UNC and at Syracuse to end the season for which we could need a Cuse win to win the Coastal. It's a long shot, but if we beat Pitt, this team is going to run the table. If I'm Diaz, I'm telling my team we're not out of it. I think our guys play with even more urgency and energy than in the NC State game. It's do our die. Lose and the season is over. More losses on the way as players check out and Diaz gets fired.

Does sneaky snake Blake fire Manny immediately if they lose to Pitt which would mean an interim head coach for the FSU game? I don't think he wants Manny to coach the FSU game if he loses to PItt because if Manny loses to Pitt and beats FSU, then he can't fire him and the team may win out where he still can't fire him. So, basically, the next loss in 2021 will be Manny's last game IMO.

Either way, it's still DUMB!!! These young men are out there giving everything they have to get a win. The fans don't show up to the games and now root for losses just to get change. Oh, but they'll show out when the team is winning and ranked. NOT true fans. I would rather not even have them in our fanbase.

I'm ride or die with my team. Whatever happens with the coaching staff and administration just happens. I want my team to win every week no matter what. I support my team win or lose. PERIOD.
 
I feel our Canes have the PERFECT attitude mindset we’ve been hoping for PLUS there FOCUSED.

I’m just tickled to death to see the attitude of SHOVE THE BLADE IN AND SNAP IT OFF FLUSH AND LEAVE .

We know now ALL we have is each other in battle and NO REINFORCEMENTS COMING.

This brings the team together with a FON’T GIVE A HOOT ATTITUDE.

LOVE IT LOVE IT.

Canes WIN again and continue to ruin seasons for our opponents, we now know our PURPOSE.

We’re taking a page out of our own history book and using it as a blueprint this year.

I would really like to think, and I will be rooting for, these scrappy kids to overcome Pitt on the road, overcome their in-over-his-head head coach, underwhelming assistant coaching staff, inept AD, indifferent president, impotent BOT, “lame” media, boorish fanbase and on snd on. I really would. It would be in true cane fashion for a bunch of ’freshmans’ to flip the bird to all of it and win anyway, in spite of it all. Alas, I think it is too much for them to overcome.

All I know is a good number of their fans seem pretty concerned about the prospects of missing their best WR & RB, so that may help us out. Having said that we're also starting our back-up QB, RB & Center...I have no idea what to expect.

I think we score 33, but give up over 40 this weekend....

However if the rain really does become a big factor, I put us at 20 and Pitt at 27 to 30

Our defense has to prove they can get stops for me to believe we win this game,
