Isn't there some graphic they always put up on screen during the game of how our Miami teams in the past play in 30 degree weather? I don't remember to the W/L record, but they always put it up.

Chance of appreciable precip is quite low, yeah there will be clouds and can't rule out a stray flury but should be mostly dry with little wind. Unfortunately we aren't really built to play well in the cold
How do you reason? Miami is very strong in the trenches, with a **** good defense. That's EXACTLY what you want in a cold weather situation. If Beck can avoid turnovers and Miami can avoid stupid nonsense in regards to penalties, this game can be won. Pitt isn't an easy out, but let's not pretend that Miami isn't significantly more talented, especially in the skill areas.

I'm scared of pit more so I'm scared of Mario. He isn't a yahtuja. He isn't a killah.

Most of our roster is from Florida or the south in general, our receivers will likely have stone hands due to the hard ball and our already penalty-prone/jumpy o-line will almost certainly be false starting at a crazy rate. We will need to get lucky with turnovers to stay in it (think OU vs Tenn and Alabama).

One of the worst takes I have seen on this board. And there have been some doozies. Cold weather equals false starts? Good lord.

While true in the past I think the portal era nullifies that some. Alot of our guys have experience playing in the cold...Thomas from Tenn, Lucas from Wisconsin, O'Conner from Wash St, Toure from Rutgers, Scott and Lightfoot played HS ball in Chicago. On Offense u have Beck from UGA, Daniels at Liberty, Marion out west at BYU, Marty Brown from North Dakota st...feel like this team is much tougher than a lot of those soft *** teams we used to have. Atleast id hope.
