No surprise, and Robert earned the Friday night spot w his pre-season consistent performances, I suspect.Robert, Hugus, then Walters. Midweek TBA.
Midweek will be GirouxRobert, Hugus, then Walters. Midweek TBA.
They like the veteran presence for midweek, which is why he would always go five during the recent scrimmages.Midweek will be Giroux
For BP? Kid has gotten shellacked almost every time I have seen him pitch.Midweek will be Giroux
I would’ve thought Fischer would’ve gotten it or just let the freshmen rip imo, but that’s the direction they’re going inFor BP? Kid has gotten shellacked almost every time I have seen him pitch.
Is Evans still recovering?I would’ve thought Fischer would’ve gotten it or just let the freshmen rip imo, but that’s the direction they’re going in
He told me he will be good to go by next week, as early as this Sunday actually. I hope he can get enough innings in time for acc playIs Evans still recovering?

Yeah that would be good. I think he will be good enough in high leverage spots to keep him as a set up guy.He is who I’m hoping ends up as the midweek guy
Personally I think DeRias ends up taking over midweek innings. Mikey Fernandez looks to be a big factor in the bullpen. All the others will get innings here or there in the pen, and if I was to take a guess as to who jumps up it would be CiscarWhere do the freshmen figure into the pitching rotation in the early part of the season?
Love Ciscar - great kid, great family. My sleeper of the class.Personally I think DeRias ends up taking over midweek innings. Mikey Fernandez looks to be a big factor in the bullpen. Has Laz already regressed? I have barely heard him mentioned.Personally I think DeRias ends up taking over midweek innings. Mikey Fernandez looks to be a big factor in the bullpen. A legit student athlete. I said it from the start that he actually has the most potential: good frame with easy velo and good manipulation of his sinker. With soto I can easily see him 96-98 at some pointLove Ciscar - great kid, great family. My sleeper of the class.
I hope this team is good enough that he barely has to pitch. What I mean by that is I want to give his arm a break and let him focus on pitchability rather than regaining his past velo. He's only sitting low 90's which is worrying. He's a good kid and will bounce back thoughHas Laz already regressed? I have barely heard him mentioned.
Watching him throw in high school he def had a few things to clean up/fine tune. But 93-97 the tools were there.
I'm sure his travel teams wore him out. Then he did every big post season event. And most kids think getting lose is a few arm circles, 5 minutes of j bands and let it rip.I hope this team is good enough that he barely has to pitch. Yeah for sure, let him retool and let soto get him right. I didn't pick up on the foot strike, that's intrestingI'm sure his travel teams wore him out. Then he did every big post season event. And most kids think getting lose is a few arm circles, 5 minutes of j bands and let it rip.
His arm is a bit flat at foot strike too which is typically a precursor to tommy john.
Did MLB see it as well, or was he always committed to making it to campus?I'm sure his travel teams wore him out. Then he did every big post season event. And most kids think getting lose is a few arm circles, 5 minutes of j bands and let it rip.

Good question. My guess is he probably had a big asking price and despite how good he was he still has work to do.Did MLB see it as well, or was he always committed to making it to campus?
