What do you guys think? Stick with our regular rotation? Let Woodrey throw vs most likely Virginia?

Ideally, I'd love to hold back Woodrey or Suarez for a potential championship game. If GT gets past UVA, I'd strongly consider throwing D. Garcia out there first.

Last year, Morris brought Suarez back on Wednesday after starting on Friday, because he had the lowest pitch count in the last series. It would not surprise me one bit if that same thing happened again. Suarez threw 71 pitches last week, Woodrey threw 112. It's very possible that we see Suarez and Woodrey switch spots this week.

Danny has had the most rest, so i think he will start. Sosa against NC State, Suarez against ND and if we make it to the championship (I wanna say when but dont wanna get too ****y) I say Woodrey. Woodrey's pitching has been great. UVA and FSU we were in it the whole game because of his pitching and I feel he is most reliable. Has come a long way since Louisville game.

If Woodrey has been pitching that well, we would look really foolish if we didn't make the championship game while he rested for Sunday. Winning the championship game is absolutely meaningless. If we go 2-1 or 3-0 to make the title game, the national seed is ours no matter what happens on Sunday.

I just dont trust sosa away from home is all. No offense to the kid, great pitcher and he did great Sunday games against FSU and UVA, just worries me if we make it to that championship, I want that revenge on U of L and tie the games up at 2 a piece and I feel most comfortable with Woodrey there, especially with how solid he has been.

You're missing the forest for the trees. In order to play in the championship game, we need to win our pool play games. Holding back Woodrey while using a Sosa that you don't trust doesn't sound like a plan that's going to get us there.

Well Sosa has pitched against NCST and blanked them which is why I say throw him that game. Idk im just worried that if we dont win that championship, we're not gunna get a national seed is all, and I dont see anyone in our bracket really competing with our hitting.

I promise that this is the last time I am going to post this, but Sunday's results will not have an impact on the national seed. Getting there is infinitely more important than actually winning it.

It's more important for us to win the pool play than the title for seeding. Suarez should throw against UVA, Sosa against NC St, and Woodrey against ND.

If we win 2 or all 3 of those we are a likely NS at that point

Agree with Pimp, i'd be really surprised if GT took the game from Virginia. I can't say I would be disappointed if they did though, I'm much more concerned about facing UVA than Tech.

The ACC championship game is meaningless. They arent holding Woodrey back for a game that we might not even be playing in.

Agree - need to treat this week like a three game ACC series w no mid week game. If it ain't broke, don't fix it - Woodrey, Suarez and Sosa. They will each have five days rest or more.
