Shame on you for dragging a poor dead horse into this. I bet that horse had more 50 yard gains before it died than Gattis has had in his career.
Lol I believe you! I've said in a couple threads that I coached flag football up to high school, and I've NEVER seen a playbook so limited. Not at any level. We can all complain about the results, but its hard to put into words just how bad it really is because nothing compares to it. It has no equal!Facts!!! ****, I’m a HS DC, and I know I could call a better offensive game than GattASS… using his playbook. The guy is *****-ah-BOL!!
I bet that cow could score from the one.View attachment 216185
We're way past Horses..... We in Cow country now...!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Yep, the cow is eating up those punches no problem. And look at his tail, he's happy!I bet that cow could score from the one.
Would be the best fullback we've had since Realus "Father Time" George roamed the sidelines.Yep, the cow is eating up those punches no problem. And look at his tail, he's happy!
Fat Hill the goat. @GlowWould be the best fullback we've had since Realus "Father Time" George roamed the sidelines.
Round peg (players) into square hole (Gattis) = regressionLook at 2021 stats to now. We are worse in every single category. That means we've regressed in all aspects on offense.
Yes, the players should take some blame but ultimately this falls on the feet of Mario and Gattis. Gattis has to go, there's no other way around it.
I made this point a few weeks ago in some recruiting threads. Part of this is on Gattis...I'll give you most of it. Because he's not calling anything that goes downfield with any regularity, we don't make explosive plays at all.
If you deep dive and look at numbers below 10 yards...for example, plays of just 7 yards or more, we are in the bottom 20 of the nation, too and we are middle of the road in the nation when it comes to plays of 4 yards or more. That means we are basically a team that gets under 3 yards per play most times out. Any time we are behind schedule, our drives are ******* toast. We struggle to make up yards. All of that tracks with our on-field results. It doesn't help we are one of the more penalized teams in the country.
Now why do I say "mostly" Gattis? Because if you're generating that little yardage play to play...thats skill guys not making a guy miss, thats your skill guys not fighting for extra yards, thats missed blocks, thats misreading your blocking as a skill guy, thats dropped easy passes, thats your QB not being accurate with his ball placement...basically, there is a lot of user error in that as well...all of which tracks when you watch the games, too.
In sum, all of this tracks with what you see on game day...its not just Gattis...its a collective effort to be this terrible on offense and yeah, its the worst Miami offense I've ever seen.
I thought that they would let TVD build up big stats for his Heisman run that game, sad play calling.I remember after the Bethune game I sounded the alarms that we took zero deep shots and no explosive plays.
I was assured he was saving the playbook lol.
Never believe that one fellas. Bethune game told the story.
I hope we win Saturday but there is a small part of me that hopes we lose so the misery ends and Cristobal fires him come Monday and we can start anew with some optimism for next season.
Lol. Yeah. We still suck.A dead horse

100%. Not to mention, you shouldn't need to open the playbook to drop some bombs on Bethune cookman. A fly route isn't some genius concept that should be withheld.x2
I’m always skeptical on the “save the playbook” mess, it’s BS but I’m forever calling folks out on it from this point forward lol. If that is ever being said then it’s a 90% chance we’re fvcked.

We learned afterwards, its just not preferred to have explosive plays. They preferred the ball controll smashmouth bro style.
We are all aware of that.No one is disagreeing with you
But, Gattis is gone, let’s just move on to the next chapter
