stupid question but ... how do you get the cranes out of there?

Looking like it's coming along. I do not envy the workers that have to be on the roof trying to get this thing finished. Hope the squeeze Dolphins ownership for 1.5X or 2X pay.

Stephen Ross is paying a hefty tab to get all this work done as fast as it's getting done. I think a lot of people get nervous when they see the amount of work that needs to be done and say "It'll never get finished in time". People are too used to dealing with government construction contracts where they take their sweet time because they're getting paid the same either way. A private contractor will work as fast and as many hours as you're willing to pay for. There's a reason why a massive undertaking like this project can get done in a few months but it takes 6 years to repair a lane on I-95.

What is astonishing is that this stadium was never an open roof dome when it was first built. Its literally a sauna there. This renovation is going to be amazing!! Between this and the IPF we will start to get more and more of the elite recruits. This finally puts us on par with the top schools in the country. I think the game day atmosphere is going to be phenomenal.

The atmosphere for the fsu game will be amazing. Win that game and everything changes in a hurry.

As fans we need to make the atmosphere better for the rest of the games. FSU will sellout. I know we won't sell out any others but we gotta stop having embarrassing crowds on tv. It's always needs to be at least half full

The school says they've sold 40,000 season tickets. If just those people show up, it'll be an improvement.

The structure is the slow work. I think once they finish what looks to be one sideline that the roof panels will fly. And that will look amazing with the new shade and reflective noise qualities.

I wonder about the lighting. The old lighting was just removed. I hope the new lighting will be much brighter. I suspect it will be to be Super Bowl quality and HD quality for night games.

If they tarp off the endzones as projected for lesser games then 40k would look look just fine with some no shows and single game ticket buyers.

Being 60% full for the Wake Forrests of the world is fine, just cant have the 25% full for VT as it was for the Thurs game (national) 2-3 years back.

I'm just excited about shade. I'm tired of frigging baking in that stadium. There's no breeze whatsoever in the lower bowl and praying for cloud cover and the sun to sink behind the stadium was getting old. Not to mention no rain. I had no problem sitting through rain soaked mud-fests in the Orange Bowl when I was 20. I'm 37 now and sitting in the rain ain't happening.

This. I am 33 and am over the sun. I hope the roof keeps the noise in the venue too because that stadium provides a brutal atmosphere. We shall see.

I still think they should have went with this idea for the games outside of FSU.

The only problem is the people that pay for upper endzone season tickets might get ****ed.

Anyone else really hate the teal seats? At least the orange went with our team but this crap is ridiculous. I know its been beaten for over a decade but we need a stadium so bad.
