pickney returning

so by that logic Daniel Jones was the second best QB in the draft?

The Giants thought so and he performed pretty **** good in the senior bowl. They saw something they liked. Where you get drafted is a pretty good indicator of skill level. The only QB that may be better than him was Haskins and he got drafted pretty soon after Jones.

AS long as that **** wasnt Haskins or the media forcing it and experts to be Haskins. Didnt want a statue with 4.9 speed at QB im tired of that give me a guy who moves and goes through some sort of progressions.

The combination of Quarterman, Pinckney and McCloud are better than any duo in the country...does that make sense?

McCloud will serve as the primary backup at both positions imo.

Before any of you continue to debate this dumb **** who has never watched a snap off football outside Miami, remember that he was the driver of a thread talking about how mark Walton is the better player than Saquan Barkley.

Just trying to save some of you the waste of your time.

I'm not even going to go with the classic "they wouldn't start on Bama" or the other elite defenses because that would be too easy. Shaq isn't starting on MSU Joe Bachie is way better than Shaq or LSU. Pick wouldn't even start on Iowa.

Joe Bachie

213 total tackles, 18.5 tackles for loss, 3.5 sacks, 4 int, 7 Pass deflections, 2 FR,4 FF.

Shaq Quarterman

249 total tackles, 31 tackles for loss, 11 sacks, 1 int, 8 Pass deflections, 3 FR, 1 FF, 1 TD

Lol you might wanna try one of the “elite” defenses and see how their players stack up instead smh

Shaq likely ends his career at Miami with 330 + tackles 45 tackles for loss 15 sacks at least, that’s a **** solid career for a middle linebacker

Shaq has great stats, and I appreciate everything he has given to the program - but he didn’t look particularly good last year at times. I was surprised how often he was out of position or taking a bad angle. It happens, but seemed a bit too much last year.

He was the most consistent linebacker(yes over Pinckney) and improved from his sophomore to junior year. He should have another leap in his game

That doesn't mean schit. Wait and see who gets drafted first. I will bet a lifetime ban Shaq gets picked after Bachie.

Hate when people show stats like thats the end all be all. U have to factor in there team and there measurables.....they think this **** is Madden. Sometimes stats say alot alot of times they mean ****

They would mean more if they all played the same competition, but comparin Shaq going against Duke and FSU or Bachie going against OSU, Michigan, Penn State, etc. obviously Bachie is going to have worse stats lmao.

But even against same competition you can't just use stats as end all be all like you said.

What NFL teams arent going to like about Shaq will be the same as JJ speed. Whe.n u see a Jaylon Smith and see that sideline to sideline speed u say to yourself now thats a fuqin linebacker. Shaqs good but its very important he tests well in the short burst drills and 40s. If he tests bad then gms will look at him as a guy rbs need to run into. I think he will be like 3-5th rounder depending on the talent at lb in the draft class

Facts. Krazy is just a troll, but the others agreeing with him must not watch any football besides Miami so they think all our players are the best.

Lock is a better football player, but you'll never have a true comparison because systems and franchises are different.

No one ever said shaq or Pinckney were great athletes, they are however productive players. Just as productive as any of the other linebackers People have listed in this thread. They won’t test well at the combine and won’t go any higher than the 3rd round if that.

As college players there pretty productive. Are they all acc caliber? Depends on the linebackers on other ACC teams which i dont know too well and some young up and comers. Hope they r all acc and perform like it this year. I always though picks best year was frsh year. For some reason it feels like alot of the kids we get can never handle added weight

I happen to watch a lot of ball but i just don’t see it with Iowa comment a few posts back in relation to Pinckney. It’s quite unrealistic thinking that Pinckney wouldn’t start at one of the 3 linebacker positions at Iowa imo ... they don’t have some elite core at every linebacker position. And as quick people can say we don’t play Michigan /penn state , But when did they ever have great offenses? Now Ohio state that’s a valid point but they aren’t playing dominant offenses week in and week out either. I’m also quite sure those linebackers don’t sub as much as quarterman and Pinckney either yet those 2 are still pretty **** productive.

Pinckney best year was as a freshman probably but he was much more solid as a junior compared to his sophomore year. Quarterman had a good junior year with 85 plus tackles 14.5 tfls 5 sacks. Both should continue to improve

I agree about the second part, but I would rather draft Jones than Lock. Either way you are comparing the 2nd overall QB to the 4th overall QB and the 2nd overall QB. In the Shaq vs Devin Bush argument. It is not going to be that close.
