Phillips and Bolden are definitely gone

Neither player has ANY business leaving early. I just dont get it. Neither of these guys will sniff the first 3 rounds.

IF they come back, both have a MUCH better opportunity to be a higher draft pick. Both players need more development.....and that's OK

15,21,1,2,53,7 will be gone on the D book it.
2 was likely leaving regardless, I hope 53 doesn’t come back, where is 7 going? 21 has been awful lately he definitely needs to come back, 1 should come back for sure I don’t know if he’d get drafted if he left early, and if 15 continues to play like he did yesterday then yes go to the league. I feel he needs another year tho. He could really be a top 2 round guy if he comes back and has a solid year next year.

There's a very fine line between being confident in one's ability and lacking self-awareness. Not discounting individual circumstances, but many of our players tend to fall in the latter category (I guess we all do in some way). You can sometimes hear it in their commitment speeches, "I will be spending the next 3-4 years at..." it really is a shame because many kids cannot recover from this kind of a bad decision.

None should go anywhere. But all will make bad decisions and leave. It’s proven over out track record. All of these kids will get bad advise and be gone. Except for 53 He leaves or retires because he can’t play and get passed up.

Anyone who thinks Phillips is a 1st round pick, or even close to it, doesn’t watch enough football on Saturdays. He has no tool box. He has average statistical production. He flashed yesterday, but he had plenty to learn.

Add in the medical issues - which NFL teams take very seriously before the cut massive checks - and he would be doing himself a disservice to declare.

He has ridiculous physical tools, but he's only just started to develop counter moves.

He needs another year of production / development and proving he can stay healthy for the NFL to take him seriously.

Not that they should, but they're probably declaring. These rarely go our ways - we all know this. Don't get your hopes up.

I think players turning pro to early, might be an area were Ed Reed becomes involved especially with Bolden.
both are just not quite there and should listen to NFL grades as well as were a lot of recent early departures
ended up. Jon Garvin ? projected 3rd, hanging around as a 7th round pick. McIntosh is he still in the league ?
Both Phillips and Bolden have been around and have been exposed to the business side of football.
need to understand its not the first contract but the second that counts

As others have pointed out the game changer may be the image and likeness incentive rules.

I think that players will finally think twice before bolting if they know that they can make money and still be eligible to play for the U.

It's a shame that our best players never come back for their fourth season.

Whoa, you are related to both? Clearly you must know them both personally to post something so definitive. I mean the other option is that you are an attention-seeking, sad pathetic excuse for a Miami fan, but I am going to give you the benefit of the doubt.
