I see it as an opportunity to fill their slots in the portal with new studs. We'll be fine it gives us an opportunity to keep collecting major talent and then selling recruits two ways. Development which we can sell to high school recruits and portal recruits and also them getting drafted

Both guys mentioned in this thread are transfers. We can reload at D end but Bolden is another story. He'll be missed. Can't just rely on the transfer portal every year to pluck gems at the skill positions. Some years there just won't be guys available.

Bolden seems like a mercenary and might declare, but he's also knocked at least a couple rounds off his draft stock with his play since Clemson. So there's also that...

This is the most football Bolden has played since hs..he looks beat up

Philips is probably a top 3 round guy right now in my opinion. If he finishes the year how he played last night, he's definitely a top 2 rounder at least, unless the concussions just scare the **** out of the nfl.

I mean the guy plays incredibly hard all game and he'll destroy the combine so teams will love him. He's raw but a freak and can be coaches up.

Miami is not quite reloading ... They need as many players to stay as they can .... Thats one of the many reasons they can’t quite get over the hump to be a great team ... Nobody ever stays and constantly trying to fill their spots .... Alabama, Clemson, and Ohio State reload ... Miami constantly having to scramble and hit the transfer portal isn’t reloading

Phillips has one proper season of tape, had massive injury problems at UCLA and retired at one point.

NFL scouts questioned Willis character because of all the stuff that happened at Florida, even though that was far behind him and he was dominant at Miami. Didnt get drafted.

Dont get your hopes up about that one.
