I'm waiting on most of yall to realize luke has bi polar disorder. once you realize that you dont get annoyed by it so much. Im saying this as someone that respects an looked up to him being of my heritage, from where im from, and relationship with my fam

I don't doubt what you are saying is true. I believe Luke probably does have bipolar disorder. That still doesn't justify him acting like that and treating people the way he does sometimes. I don't hate Luke and I don't know him personally, but he seems to have worn out his welcome over the last 15+ years.

I had a friend with bipolar disorder. Very successful guy. Owned a bunch of real estate, was able to take trips whenever he wanted, etc... We were friends for a few years, but he treated people like crap. Had no friends, other than his business associates, and they weren't really his friends. Good looking guy, but couldn't keep a girlfriend. One day, he could be cool, calm and collected. Fun to hang out with. The next day, he was a raging maniac over nothing. And no, he wasn't a drunkard or on drugs. Angry at the world. Bad mouthing everybody. Impatient with everyone and everything. Now I could see why he didn't have any friends. Finally had enough of him yelling and cursing at me for nothing at times. I didn't do anything to him. I don't owe him anything. Don't know where all this vitriol was coming from. Friends don't treat their friends that way. I'm too old for that. Maybe he didn't mean it, but I'm not putting up with that nonsense.

Maybe Luke doesn't mean half the things he says, and maybe he means well and has good intentions. He's got to stop with these hateful outbursts. Having bi-polar disorder doesn't excuse him of his behavior. Sometimes, you got to cut people out of your life that bring negativity majority of the time. Unfortunately, that seems what Luke is doing to the University of Miami.

WITH ALL DUE RESPECT, LUKE IS A POS. HAS BEEN FROM DAY 1.
 
I appreciate what Luke did for the players here and there - decades ago.

And anything he's done for the city and locals - those things are worthy of appreciation.

But this BS of thinking his influence on UM Football is of any consequence - amounts to a flea faart in a fan factory.

He's just not relevant any longer. He really needs to reel it in and STFU. I can imagine - once you had some fame - and now - life has passed him by. I'm sure it's depressing and infuriating.

If you're an a**hole - but you keep your big mouth shut - no one will know just how big of an a**hole you really are. And he might be remembered generously.

These petty, snarky comments does him no favors - and if all these wonderful things he's done are really worthy - he shouldn't have to talk about them.
 
Real recognize real. Most of us who actually deal with people like Luke, or those of his personality type, can instantly pick up on how full of **** he is.

Nah. I dated a bi-polar girl for a long time. I mean clinically diagnosed, not “oh she was a crazy chick”. She would occasionally have swings from depression to mania but mostly it was very mild. She took meds and went to counseling. What Luke has is a very sad need for attention. When you still have the mindset of a 3 year old, you crave attention whether it’s good or bad. It’s why he has to pop off online every so often because people stop paying attention to him. Why do you think ge never goes off on other programs for what they’re doing? Because he knows the ONLY place that will still pay attention to him is Miami. Because there’s still a handful of people here who give credence to what he says. Nowhere else in the entire world gives the tiniest **** about what some washed up 1980’s rapper has to say. The number of people in Miami who care is disappearing too. Maybe some of the older players from 40 years ago might still have some respect for him but nobody else really cares about this guy.
